Retired service members can request their official service documents through the Office of Veteran's Affairs.  Veteran's of all military services are entitled to their:

  • DD214
  • DD215
  • Report of Separation
  • Other release papers
  • Orders and endorsements
  • Performance reports
  • Awards and decorations (commendatory items)
  • Qualifications, licenses, and certificates
  • Security clearance

Members of the Rhode Island National Guard that are currently serving can access their service documents through their respective service's administrative portal (iPerms for Army, PRDA for Air. Links on right).

Retired members of the Rhode Island National Guard can request their service documents through the Office of Veteran's Affairs (link on right) after setting up a MilConnect account on the Veteran's Affairs website.

For concerns regarding missing documents in your iPerms, please contact your Readiness NCO and be prepared to present hard-copy documents to add to your iPerms record.
